Are you or a loved one navigating difficult challenges, life transitions, or trying to find an understanding of who you are? Are you a couple looking to work on making changes and building a long-lasting emotional connection? Is your family seeking strategies to manage tensions at home and become reconnected as a family unit? Are you a parent looking to learn new ways to address their child’s behaviors and find a better balance in your daily lives?

We are clinicians that have experience working with a wide variety of problems, but also specialize to make sure we can provide the best possible care. We are neurodiversity affirming and LGBTQ+ friendly. In session, our therapists make sure we create a safe and open space and understand the unique struggles you face.

Quality Mental Health Care Tailored to You

Our goal at MCCM Counseling is to help individuals navigate barriers and establish solutions for the problems they are experiencing in their daily lives. We approach therapy using empirically based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and behavioral management strategies. Our clinicians have attended numerous rigorous clinical trainings to help broaden their understanding of these evidence-based techniques, including trainings at the Beck Institute, the Center for Systemic Action, and the Ackerman Institute. Through these trainings, we have learned unique ways to apply and use these modalities to create a specialized treatment plan around the individualized needs of those with whom we meet.

A Collection of Qualified Mental Health Practitioners

Our psychotherapists have over 15 years of combined clinical experience, both in a private practice and non-profit setting. During this time our clinicians have developed their ability to use evidence-based techniques to help clients through a wide variety of mental health challenges. They have also established specializations, which include helping with life transitions, improving our client’s ability to regulate their emotions, strengthening interpersonal and romantic relationships, and assisting clients in having a better understanding of who they are and the life they want for themselves. We also have special expertise in working with individuals who are neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ clients, with our clinicians being involved in outside work to further social justice initiatives. When you first meet with one of our psychotherapists, their focus will be on helping you clearly define your problems and create a realistic treatment plan. They will then work collaboratively with you on making changes in your life, using evidence-based techniques to fit your unique perspective. In session, our clinicians will provide empathetic and patient listening, while also challenging you in ways that help you achieve your goals and establish sustainable success.
