Our Team
Amanda Grannum, LCSW
Welcome! I'm Amanda Grannum, a dedicated and compassionate therapist committed to helping individuals find clarity, balance, and fulfillment in their lives. My therapeutic philosophy centers around the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, given the right support and tools. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples, providing specialized care for managing anxiety, coping with depression, overcoming trauma, and improving relationships. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or looking for personal growth, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
As a first-generation American with parents who immigrated from the Caribbean, I bring a rich cultural perspective to my practice as well as BIPOC-affirming care. My background includes trauma-informed care and therapy for survivors of accidents, structural fires, domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, natural disasters, and emotional abuse. In my practice, I utilize a variety of trauma-informed therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I believe in a client-centered approach, working collaboratively to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings.
Clients often describe me as warm, empathetic, and insightful. My approach is holistic, considering all aspects of your well-being and helping you build resilience and self-awareness. If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey towards well-being, I invite you to reach out for a consultation.
